Goals? Here’s a Playful Approach

There are a lot of ways to approach goals and lifelong dreams, aren’t there? I find that being playful keeps it light so I choose to invest in myself by doing what I need to do to make things happen.

Here’s an excerpt from my ebook Get Started:

Sometimes goals can be playful!

I’ve found keeping my goals playful makes them happen.

It’s an ingredient for success that I’ve used in the past.

I’ve needed to start my life over again a number of times. My whole life I’ve run into incredible health challenges. Some of them, I learned to manage – and keep on managing. Some of them, thankfully, gratefully, went away. So, for example, breaking a leg and having it be broken so badly, needing to be in a cast from September to May. And then taking a long time to get better from that. That’s something that went completely away! Other health challenges are more long term. I’ve had to learn to manage them.

You’ve probably had challenges in your life that you’ve needed to manage.

[If not… yet? You will… later in life! Eventually.]

That’s a way, learning to manage,
that you can use to your advantage in growing your life.

Because when you want to
make something really happen in your life,
ways you’ve done it can lead you to ways
to do it in your future, for other areas in your life.

And making one thing happen is how you make everything happen!

So, if you really want
to make one thing happen in your life,
dare to make a change in your life.

Dare to do it.

And dare to do it by narrowing things down.

From my experience,
it’s important to choose one thing
and master it before adding other things.

So if you have a list of 25 things that you want to do?

Well, I encourage you to narrow things down.

Make it be a playful approach by taking it lightly. Narrow things down so that you can put a whole lot of yourself into one goal for a while and you’ll make things happen for one of your goals!
