What goals are worth pursuing right now?

Goals you deeply, authentically have a burning desire to achieve help you grow faster.

Those are the goals you care enough about to work hard and consistently at making happen.

It comes down to choosing what matters to you more — and what matters at least a little bit less. And then the achieving takes quite a bit of exploring, experimenting and getting mentoring.

Because pursuing a goal takes wise effort over time!

We each get 24 hours a day, so it’s useful to figure out one thing that matters most to you and break that one down into smaller pieces that you can realistically begin to tackle here and now with steps you can do.

Because that way you can see yourself making daily progress!

That way you can celebrate your small successes along the way.

I’ve found that it’s helpful to set goals small enough that you can do them or get help doing them within what fits for your current situation and timeline.

For me, right now, that means very small goals that fit within my current challenges and that fit with moving me forward toward my dreams in specific, concrete ways.

For you, here and now, it’s wise to consider what you want to accomplish in life alongside whatever challenges you find yourself facing in this phase in your life. Look at your energy, your skills, and what thrills you enough that you’d eagerly go through the mundane work that’s also going to be part of making it happen as well as bravely struggle through whatever irritations, frustrations and fears arise to thwart your efforts.
